Promotional Flyer and Pamphlet Design
A flyer gets about two seconds of attention, usually while someone is walking or sorting through a newspaper. That means one message has to dominate and everything else supports it. Flyer, Pamphlet or Leaflet?
The three words get used interchangeably in India and they broadly mean the same thing: a single unfolded printed sheet used for promotion. What actually changes is size and paper. A5 is the most common size for hand distribution and newspaper inserts because it is cheap to print in bulk. A4 gives more room and feels more substantial, which suits showrooms and institutions. Paper runs from 90 GSM, which is light and economical for mass distribution, up to 130 GSM, which feels closer to a proper leaflet and holds colour better.
