About Image to Text:
The Image to Text tool by DESIGNMAZA pulls the words out of a picture so you can edit them instead of typing them again. Drop in a photograph of a bill, a screenshot of a message, a scanned form or a page from a book, choose the language, and the text appears beside it ready to copy. It reads English, Hindi and Marathi, including pages that mix English with one of the other two. Everything happens inside your browser, so the picture itself is never uploaded to a server, which matters when the document is an invoice, an identity paper or anything else you would rather not hand to a website.
What is Image to Text?
Image to Text is optical character recognition, usually shortened to OCR. A photograph stores a picture of letters, not the letters themselves, so a computer sees shapes rather than words. OCR looks at those shapes, works out which characters they are, and gives you back real text that you can search, edit, translate or paste into a document. It is the difference between a photo of a price list, which you can only look at, and a price list you can copy into a spreadsheet.
